Stellar Science is a growing Albuquerque-based scientific software development company seeking talented software developers to create and extend engineering applications for the analysis of space systems, aircraft, and missiles. We conduct research and develop interactive software in the fields of computer vision, image enhancement, three-dimensional visualization, computational electromagnetics, scene simulation, and thermal modeling.

Applicants will be asked to submit a C++ template meta-programming example if contacted for an interview.

Position duties:- Implement complicated data models using C++ template meta-programming and advanced OO design- Assist other developers when they hit a wall- Extend the Boost library to provide additional functionality- Mentor other developers on C++ best practices

Education and experience:- C++ wizard; top 1% of C++ developers- B.S. in computer science or engineering (required)- M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science or engineering (preferred)- Total mastery of STL & core Boost C++ class libraries - Expert at C++ template metaprogramming - Able to parse lengthly compilation errors caused by template problems- Comfortable working with an array of modern C++ compilers: MSVC, gcc, Intel, PathScale, xlC, PGI

Primary Job Functions

• Participate in creating the governing principles used to guide the continuing evolution of the EA to ensure decision making and outcomes address stakeholder's needs.
