About Your Role:
As a Front End Developer at RDA you will be responsible for bringing your talents to planning, developing, deploying and maintaining innovative technical solutions for our clients.
Core skills:
Proficient with HTML (XHTML, HTML5), CSS (including CSS3) and javascript for rich interfaces (widgets, ajax, frameworks, etc.)
Master of at least one JS-framework, and profound interest in CSS-platforms (jQuery is at the top of the list, but Dojo, Prototype, etc. work as well)
Proficient in Flash CS4 and AS2 and AS3 (script-based animation, XML-driven sites, dynamic interfaces, swfaddress for deep linking)
Genuine interest for APIs and frameworks (Google products, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, etc.) and knowledge about how to implement them
Proven ability to consult on design and layout to take better advantage of available technologies
Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
Ability to research and evaluate new web products and front end technologies. You must have a clear picture of what the future of the web holds (HTML5, CSS3, etc.) and a firm believe in standards and their evolution
Production of front-end interfaces that prioritize accessibility and usability (WCAG)
Love experimentation and invention. Not afraid to try new technologies
Other requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
Experience in developing interactive applications (websites, rich applications, mobile apps a plus)
Experience in server side development (PHP, .Net, Java, etc.) a huge plus
Excellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills (written and oral)
At least 3-5 years of related work experience
Full-time employee
Must be able to work on site (New York City), no remote work
