Web Engineer
A small financial services company, with $100 mm under management, is seeking a versatile web developer/data engineer, an all-around "utility infielder", with 2+ years of experience.
You are:- a natural problem solver/hacker, at home in Linux and Mac OS X environments

You have:- experience in web application development with MySQL/PHP/JQuery/AJAX on Mac/OS X, with Linux as the production environment
- experience in automating the web page data extraction ("web scraping")
- experience in gathering and scrubbing the data coming from diverse sources in a variety of formats, checking data integrity and self-consistency
- familiarity with Drupal as the Content Management System
Essential skills:- PHP, JavaScript/JQuery, AJAX- MySQL, Python, Perl
Desired skills:- Drupal- SVN source control - Other programming languages- Analytical/statistical/data mining background
Position:Full-time, competitive salary (60K - 80K, depending on experience), with flexible work arrangement - combination of telecommuting and office work.
Responsibilities:You will be a key member of our IT team, working closely with one of the partners to Improve and maintain the existing client web portal and back-end applications, automate and run the residential and commercial real estate data gathering and cleanup, create and maintain the technical documentation.
This is a fulltime position.
