Ruby Developer
Location: Corvallis, OR
We are looking for a highly motivated Ruby Developer to be a part of development team at Strands.
The job responsibilities include:
• Involved in development projects for new features in our existing application• Responsible for building units tests and testing said new features• Analyzes and responds to performance and other maintenance issues• Tests and corrects errors and refines changes• Must be able to work in a co-located team environment• Will be responsible for developing solutions at all levels of the application (data layer, logic layer and display layer)• Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications Of This Position:
The candidate must have had a history of excellence. BS degree in Computer Science or related field from four-year college or university; and 3 years minimum Ruby/Ruby on Rails experience. MySQL, Subversion, Code Collaborator, Javascript, CSS and Flash/Actionscript experience preferred. Candidate has the ability to get things done in an innovative, start-up culture.
