RIGHTSLEEVE/Toronto, ON, Canada (Yonge&Davisville)RIGHTSLEEVE is looking for an experienced, hands-on Lead Software Developer. You will be involved in the design, architecture and implementation of a cloud based multi-tenanted SaaS application. RIGHTSLEEVE is an established company with experienced management, great PR, a strong brand, a fun team and a nice office in mid town Toronto.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with large scale enterprise application architecture and implementation
- Proven experience with Object Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of and experience in Agile software development
- Strong background in database driven application design and development
- Strong working knowledge of PHP5, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS technologies
- Direct experience with AJAX Patterns and frameworks like JQuery, Prototype,Scriptaculous, etc.
- Experience with various PHP MVC Frameworks (CakePHP, CodeIgnitor, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of web protocols and standards (SSL, OAUTH, etc.)
- Experience building applications with re-usability in mind (write once, use it many times)
- Minimum 5 years software development experience
Education:
- Computer science or Engineering degree

- Ability to manage medium to large scale web application projects and priorities
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Great communication and customer facing skills (yes, you will be speaking to customers).
- Love of learning (you geek out by staying on the cutting edge of technology)
- Experience in a web 2.0 startup environment
