Position Charter & Experience
The Migration Specialist's primary responsibility is to work with carrier and MGA customers to assist in the migration to the latest version of the ImageRight software package.
Key Accountabilities
Migration Specialist position responsibilities include:
• Serve as Migration Specialist to migrate existing customers to the latest version of the ImageRight software package.
• Participate in requirements gathering, business analysis, project management, and innovative solution development directly with customers.
• Will perform QA on developed customer solutions and assist in the resolution of identified issues.
• Provide workflow analysis and basic development using VBScript.
• Provide technical support to recently migrated customers.
• Frequently collaborates with supervisors and functional peer groups and provides regular project updates.
• Provide system administrator and end user training on the ImageRight product.
• Researches product bugs and enhancements to stay informed of product changes.
• Assist customers remotely as well as on-site sometimes requiring after hours and weekend work.
• 25% travel may be required.
Professional and Technical Competencies
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing system upgrades, conversions, and consolidation.
• 3 to 5 years working in a customer facing technical role.
• Superb communications/interpersonal skills.
• Research and analysis, project planning, and implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities independently and work in a team environment with moderate supervision.
• General understanding of databases and basic experience with MSSQL and/or Oracle databases
• Experience with VBScript or other similar scripting language.
• Experience with ImageRight software a plus.
Nice to have:
• Knowledge of the insurance industry, commercial lines underwriting, and policy issuance process
• Experience with the AIM management system.
