Yoh/Everett, WAYoh has two contract opportunities for Business Analysts to join our client in Everett, WA.
Job Overview:
The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the business process supported by the Material Certification Information System (MCIS) and its sub systems Flammability Certification Information System (FCIS) and Flammability Parts Compliance Database (FPCD) and acting as the main liaison between the Flammability Subject Matter Experts and the Development Team.
Job Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst works with the Product Owner and Subject Matter Experts to identify:
- Functions required to support the business process,
- Requirements of each function
- Tasks required to implement the function
- Conceptual/Functional design of User interface and business data
The Business Analyst works with the Developer to:
- Clarify requirements and design
- Validate and Test completed functions (Functional and Integration)
The Business Analyst completes the following:
- Demonstrate and validate completed functions with the main User Community
- Creates and delivers User Training and Documentation
- Provide support to users for the delivered functions
Job Qualifications:
Experience with the following:
- Structured methodology (Rup, MacroScope, Method one, Ascendant, etc)
- Understanding and experience with requirement gathering and requirements management
- Creating business process models
- Working with Subject Matter Experts
- Interaction skills and experience, must be able to work well with different personality styles
- Experience or training in agile, Scrum and user stories
- Writing and executing test scripts
- MS Access and Excel
- ODBC connections to Oracle and SQL Server
- Web Application Development efforts
- Creating functional data models
- Experience or training on Structured Query Language (SQL)
- "In process" and "end to end" metrics definition and implementation
- Familiarity or some experience with coding or development
