We are currently looking for a full-time programmer with expertise in PHP & SQL (MySQL & MSSQL) to join our team. Additional qualifications include experience with JavaScript & CSS. The majority of our applications now run on Linux systems with MySQL DBs. Candidate will be part of a small team of programmers working on web based logistics software. We are a results oriented company and as such the candidate must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
•Design and development of cutting edge web apps used to support our transportation industry services
•Troubleshoot and maintain existing code base
•Participate in the overall design and direction of our applications development
Requirements
•Expertise in PHP and SQL
•Experience with CSS, AJAX, JS, jQuery a plus
•Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
•Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills
•Desire to take initiative & be a self-starter
Additional Info
•Understanding of Web 2.0 concepts, dynamic user interfaces - AJAX
•Experience with large databases and commercial web sites
•Understanding of fundamental concepts of OOP and MVC
