Job Responsibilities:

- Current opening is for a Software Architect Understudy, developing new products using a variety of technologies. Seeking an eager developer who wishes to develop their craft to an expert level.
- Software Engineers at VSEA can expect to work on pre-compilers, compilers, control system engines, data logging and analysis tools, automation applications, simulators, build system tools, installers as well as the local and remote user interface applications that are necessary to run and support our implanters.
- A key advantage to working at VSEA is the exposure to a wide variety of software languages (predominantly C++ and C#), technologies and paradigms while learning and developing your systems engineering skills with very complex machinery.
- Domain of technologies spans everything from Web-based tools through embedded systems. Primary environment is Windows operating system running Visual Studio 2010 to develop managed and unmanaged applications and libraries for control, data mining, analysis and various infrastructure tools.

Job Qualifications:

- BS right out of school with a lot of energy
- Good C++ experience
- 2-3 yrs of work experience

Windows administration experience in a SAN environment preferred. 
Experience with 4/10gbs fiber channel networking preferred. 
This person should have a passion for learning new technology, excellent written and verbal communication skills, works well as part of a team and is focused on meeting assigned deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or  a related field or equivalent experience.

Job Qualifications:

5-10 years experience as a UNIX and storage administrator, with minimum 3 years maintaining large environment of AIX LPAR with SAN Connectivity.
3-5 years experience as a Windows server system administrator.
1-3 years experience working with SAN/NAS storage devices.
1-3 years experience using Tivoli Storage Manager.
1-3 years experience supporting VMWare.

 Technical Skills:

Server hardware experience including IBM System P-series servers running AIX required.
Server hardware experience including HP ProLiant, IBM X-series or Dell PowerEdge running Windows required.
Experience in administering and allocating SAN/NAS storage on devices manufactured by IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, NetApp and others required.
Experience working with fiber channel networks preferred.
Operating System experience including AIX v5.x-6.x and Windows 2003/2008 Server required.
Software experience including Tivoli Storage Management required; Oracle DBMS, IBM DB2 DBMS, Nagios, Pandora preferred.

Two plus years experience in curriculum development. This would include developing training guides, classroom materials and learning objectives.
Should have experience with PowerPoint, Microsoft office applications and graphics editing tools.
Good writing skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Prefer experience in a technical field
Experience with Web Based Training (WBT) authoring tools or development would be a big plus.
