Weigel Broadcasting Co/Chicago, ILWeigel Broadcasting Co. has an immediate opening for a Web Designer. Responsibilities include designing web site layouts for new sites, as well as creating graphics to support all existing Weigel web properties. The Web Designer will work with the Web Department on graphics for web, and with the Graphic Design department to assure a consistency of styles across all visual platforms. They will be responsible for both creating new standards for web and following existing station style guidelines. Experience designing engaging and effective user interfaces preferred.
Candidates must have experience preparing graphics for web implementation and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Flash, and Dreamweaver. Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript or Flash Action Script 2.0 or 3.0 would be a an added bonus. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to manage multiple projects, work under deadlines and with minimal supervision.
