• Posix Serial Port programming knowledge/experience
• Ability to design, prototype, and implement
• QT programming with X Windows a big plus
• Multithreaded programming.
• Iphone, Android, or Nokia programming experience a plus
• Fast paced development environment.
• A very technical role - 10% analysis, 90% programming.

Requirements of the Candidate include:
• 5+ years of professional C/C++ programming experience in a Linux/UNIX environment.
• Good understanding of shared memory, signals, process management, etc.
• Comfortable with programming in a RAD environment. Code/Test/Deploy to production
• Programming experience with X Window QT and multithreaded technologies.
• Experience in analysis and code refactoring.
The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or closely related field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in analysis and code refactoring.
• Scripting skills in python and bash.
• Network programming using socket interface a plus.
• Some experience with 8 bit microcontrollers , or linux device drivers a plus.

Salary and Benefits

• Compensation: 85-100k depending on experience
