Join the SunWize team in this exciting position located in our Kingston, NY headquarters. Participate in the future growth of our power systems for industrial and residential applications. Work with the most experienced sales team in the industry to develop the next generation of SunWize-engineered solutions for applications ranging from grid-tie residential home power to remote site equipment to provide 24/7 power for oil and gas, security, telecommunications, and other industrial off-grid applications.
Compensation and Benefits:
SunWize offers a competitive salary plus fully comprehensive benefits package. Our generous

Position Goals:
1. Design responsibility for SunWize industrial and residential power system products.
2. Execution of customer orders for manufactured products.
3. Technical, cost and scheduling support to the sales team for quotes.
4. Management of documentation related to job function, including vendors, product testing and design standards.
Responsibilities:
• Product technical design and components specification.
• Bills of material preparation and maintenance.
• Materials specification and vendor approval.
• Quality control, testing and system commissioning.
• Documentation (manual and drawings) preparation and coordination.
• Customer technical support and training.
• Management of documentation related to job function, including vendors, product testing, design standards, customer orders, etc.
• Develop costs, designs and schedules for sales quotes and proposals.
• Provide engineering technical support for general products.
Requirements:
• B.S. degree in electrical engineering, or related discipline plus 4 years of recognized product engineering experience.
• Electromechanical design and manufacturing skills.
• Applied power systems engineering skills including hands-on familiarity with test equipment.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and battery-based systems.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and maintaining bills of material in ERP/MRP system is a plus.
