WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A passionate and dedicated mid level web developer who can utilize their creativity and technical expertise within a dynamic team environment. Working with project managers, a lead web developer, designers and others – you will implement designs and build websites to meet project specifications and exceed client expectations.
MUST HAVES:
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming concepts
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and relational database design
- JavaScript experience (including Ajax and jQuery)
- CMS experience (Drupal preferred)
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of development experience
OTHER SKILLS:
- Development experience with Flash / Flex ActionScript (AS3, Adobe AIR)
- Work experience with versioning control software (SVN)
- Development experience with APIs (social and or search)
- Experience in managing & maintaining a server in a LAMP (or Windows) environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment with others
- Ability to follow directions and also work independently
- A passion for web technologies and the industry
