Duration of Contract: 6 -12 months

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Perform analysis and design to support implementation PSHR projects
- Construct and test the deliverables defined within the Requirements Definition stage
- Evaluate customizations and provide multiple solutions, when requested
- Work with customers to confirm requirements for new project development or system enhancements
- Develop online customizations using PeopleTools - Application Designer
- Develop SQR/Application Engine batch programs for interface/conversion/reporting
- Develop custom SQL statements to run against database tables for analysis
- Create technical specification documents by using functional requirements documents
- Work with the Business users to develop data mapping document for interface and conversion development
- PeopleSoft coding, debugging, and deployment
- System design review and documentation
- Requirements review and documentation
- PeopleSoft HR and third party application system support
Required Skills and Experience:
- B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 1 year of large project management experience - preferably in IT
- Extensive experience with PeopleSoft HR V8.9/9.0 and knowledge of 9.1
- Experience with PeopleSoft Tools 8.51
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision, follow directions and assist others when needed, attend meetings and participate in discussions and work in busy, open office environment
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with ability to translate user / functional needs to specific technical requirements
- Experience with functional modules within Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise applications
- Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- 3 years or more development experience with Oracle's PeopleSoft 9.0 and familiarity with development in V9.1
- Solid technical skills in developing online/batch/reporting customizations
- Strong technical knowledge of PeopleSoft development tools: Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, nVision, Crystal Reports, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Component Interfaces, and File Layout
- 3 years of system analysis and design application
- Experience working with DB2/Oracle/SQL Server or other relational databases
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Good documentation skills using Microsoft products especially Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing development priorities
- Ability to work with functional leads and ability to translate user / functional needs to specific technical requirements
