Yoh/Milpitas, CAYoh has a direct hire opportunity for a Principle Engineer to join our client in Milpitas, CA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design a GUI that addresses the business objectives.
- Build the GUI as part of a middle layer running in Linux and presented through Apache.
- Work closely with the embedded system team to understand and translate the features into GUI.
- Be a leader and a self starter; present your design and drive it through completion.
- Be an advocate of rapid development principles; short iterative development cycles with frequent feedback loops.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum BSEE/CS with 8+ years of working experience in Web related technologies.
- Experience working on embedded devices
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML/CSS, PHP, and JavaScript (including JSON, JQuery and/or Prototype).
- Excellent team player with ability to lead, motivate, and guide other members of the team.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Understanding of Web 2.0 Technologies.
- Energetic, proactive problem solver with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a flexible, fast changing environment.
Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience in usability engineering, including user analysis and usability testing a plus
- Working experience with Adobe Flex and related UI technologies desired
