Job Qualifications:
• Seeking candidates with a mastery of Object Oriented Programming, Adobe Flex and with AS3 libraries.
• Decisions and problem solving based on application of broad policies and guidelines.
• ActionScript 3.0 and object oriented programming, understanding of Adobe Flex/Air and other front end technologies, Experience creating dynamic Flash applications that use XML and server side technologies; experience with XML and Flash, including an understanding of XSD/DTD for validation.
• Good understanding of Flash memory management and experience building applications that manage large numbers of objects efficiently.
• Ability to debug Flex applications (stack traces, watches, etc).
• Will need to work well with Product team (interaction and usability – look and feel), Engineering team (server communication and application integration), and Quality Assurance team.
• Must have a portfolio or other way to demonstrate previous work for reference.
• Flash/Flex remoting (FluorineFx or WebORB)
• Excellent analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Pluses include .NET skills, SQL, C#, WCF.

POSITION SUMMARY: Develop software for Garmin products in a team-oriented environment.
