Today, Pangea3 seeks a dynamic, proactive, and highly motivated U.S. lawyer to join our team of US and Indian lawyers to help manage the onshore delivery of litigation document review for our corporate and law firm clients.

Job Description:

We are looking for a mid-level to senior litigator with at least five years experience at a large law firm or managing document reviews in a staffing or corporate environment.

The ideal candidate will assume a leadership role in assisting in the management and building of Pangea3's onshore document review capabilities. Pangea3 works on the highest profile cases facing US based Fortune 500 companies and financial services firms, and the ideal candidate would be very knowledgeable in internet delivery of services; electronic review platforms (including the ability to use those platforms for productivity reporting, non-linear review, QC and production); working across continents and time zones; and would have expertise in servicing global clients in private law firms or within the legal department of a large corporate entity.

Specifically, you will:

* Assist in the recruiting and hiring of temporary and/or full-time attorneys in order to build appropriately sized teams of lawyers to satisfy client requirements (deadlines and budget) while maximizing profit to the organization.
* Supervise and manage (within a domestic review facility) electronic document reviews (including responsiveness and privilege review); will also assist clients in formulating issue code and relevance search strategies, as well as participate in other pre-trial preparation engagements (such as fact or expert witness binder-preparation).
* Ensure that all work product generated is client ready and will meet the highest U.S. and international standards.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting stringent restrictions on time and billable hour considerations.
* Coordinate client communications within our organization, including maintaining relationships and high-level touch with in-house counsel attorneys and third-party law firm attorneys.
* Act as a liaison with corporate partners on work-related matters.
* Participate in the budgeting and review processes to evaluate team members.
* Regularly communicate with the members of the India-based litigation management team to ensure consistency across delivery centers and to share best practices.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

* JD and admission to at least one state bar required
* Solid experience and a demonstrable acumen to communicate with and successfully manage teams.
* A minimum of 5 years litigation-related and/or document review experience.
* 5 - 10 years experience in the legal industry or legal corporate environment

* Excellent verbal and writing skills.
* Strong Interpersonal Skills
* Proficient Internet and PC skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
* Highly proficient with the most popular web based document review platforms.
* Comfort with, and ability to, communicate with C-Level executives and law firm partners.

* Ability to handle and appropriately prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously, all while maintaining the requisite high levels of confidentiality.
* Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
* Good judgment and initiative in selecting the most effective marketing and sales methods.
* Experience managing a team

Job Description:

Senior litigator with at least seven years experience at a large law firm or managing multiple large, complex document review projects in a law firm or corporate environment.

The ideal candidate will assume a leadership role in assisting in the direction, management and building of Pangea3's onshore document review capabilities and should have experience managing complex operations related to complex document review projects including staffing, reporting to clients and management, maximizing efficiency of review and profitability and managing all logistics related to the operation of a document review facility. Pangea3 works on the highest profile cases facing US based Fortune 500 companies and financial services firms, and the ideal candidate will be very knowledgeable in electronic review platforms (including the ability to use those platforms for productivity reporting, non-linear review, QC and production); working across continents and time zones; and would have expertise in servicing global clients in private law firms or within the legal department of a large corporate entity.

Specifically, you will:

* Report to the Managing Director of Litigation Solutions on the productivity, profitability and on all aspects of projects being run out of the Carrollton facility.
* Be responsible for the overall management of multiple document review teams at Pangea3's onshore facility in Carrollton, TX.
* Work effectively with Thomson Reuters generally, and the existing Carrollton building management specifically, to ensure all logistical and infrastructure concerns related to the delivery of Pangea3's services and operations are properly handled and managed.
* Assist in the recruiting and hiring of temporary and/or full-time attorneys in order to build appropriately sized teams of lawyers to satisfy client requirements (deadlines and budget) while maximizing profit to the organization.
* Supervise permanent Pangea3 lawyers and project managers that will manage electronic document review projects (including responsiveness and privilege review);
* Ensure that all work product generated is client ready and will meet the highest U.S. and international standards.
* Coordinate client communications within our organization, including maintaining relationships and high-level touch with in-house counsel attorneys and third-party law firm attorneys.
* Support business development activities, including participating in client phone calls and meetings as and when needed.
* Act as a liaison with corporate partners on work-related matters.
* Participate in the budgeting and review processes to evaluate team members.
* Regularly communicate with the members of the India-based litigation management team to ensure consistency across delivery centers and to share best practices.
