Sr. Software Engineer – Mobile Team

This Sr. Software Engineering position will put you on the leading edge of mobile development. As part of the Backcountry.com Mobile team, you'll be involved in building great software for the iPad and iPhone as well as other devices.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Building and enhancing mobile apps; mobile platforms include but are not limited to the iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry
• Design and implement a scalable and robust web service architecture to support mobile interactions
• Working with a small agile team to take mobile initiatives from inception to delivery
• Wearing many hats in the product development cycle and owning the solution
Qualifications:
• Passion for mobile computing
• A published app on one of the major mobile platforms
• 5+ years experience in an object-oriented language such as Java or C++
• Strong experience developing and maintaining software across a broad installation base
• Strong experience with RIA technologies
• Experience with HTML5
• Experience with mobile security standards (e.g. Open Authentication)
• Software development experience with Cocoa Touch and Objective C
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Outdoor interests (skiing, snowboarding, climbing, cycling, etc.) a plus
Considerations:
• Position is based in our Park City corporate office and may require occasional travel to Salt Lake City locations
• Salary based on experience
• Telecommuting is not desirable
