(Australia) Papercut are a very small, long-established Austrailian studio, populated and controlled by bona fide human beings. We do most of our development in house, but occasionally our hands get a little bit on the full side, so I'm reaching out for some equally human contractors to help us out.
What I need right now is somebody experienced in Magento who is able to take a well structured Fireworks PNG of a store design and turn it into a proper, well-implemented Magento theme. You'll be able to do this without too many questions or tears, and hopefully rather quickly. You'll also do it with an eye towards web standards and accessibility, and I won't need to tell you why that matters.
That's what I'm looking for today. Broader experience in Magento also useful. And beyond that, if you happen to have solid PHP skills, or Python and Django, and like some unusual challenges, freelance gigs could be ongoing (no promises, but those skills will be an advantage in your application).
You don't have to be based in Australia, but it'll help. Being in Melbourne or Perth will be even better.Apply: My name is Patrick. I'd like to know something about you. Send an email to 4742@jobs.authenticjobs.com outlining your experience, rates, and why you're the kind of person we might like to work with (hint: read our website, see if you think you fit).
