JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a business-minded, seasoned consultant who understands that his utmost priority is to provide excellent advice and beautiful, yet pragmatic, solutions to each and every SitePen client. This unique person is a developer at heart who enjoys the daily combination of solving difficult problems, writing magnificent code and working as a producer of extraordinary web apps for SitePen's valued clients.
MUST HAVES:
⃠A minimum of 3 years of front-end web application development experience.
⃠Passionate dedication to all things web.
⃠Ability to work on multiple, unrelated projects and switch hats at a moment's notice.
⃠Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with teammates, management and clients.
⃠Technical leadership in all aspects of project involvement.
⃠Ability to understand requirements and ask select questions to resolve discrepancies and further refine a requirement.
⃠Extreme attention to detail in web app development & documentation practices.
Other experience-related attributes include:
⃠Technical project leadership & diplomacy to make your project surpass client expectations.
⃠Understanding of project scheduling and respecting your teammates' time.
⃠Experience with unit testing best practices.
⃠Self-disciplined to produce award-worthy code in a virtual environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
⃠Play a lead role in a plethora of projects that range from project discovery phases, performance optimization consulting, to pure web application development.
⃠Assist project managers & requirements engineers in writing detailed requirements.
- Be a key player in improving development best practices.
⃠Assist in answering technical questions and assisting fellow developers
⃠Mentor new team members always demonstrating SitePen's values.
