Job Responsibilities:

- Participates in the design and development of business and system architectures

- Works on highly complex architectural impact projects and directs implementation of the architecture for a single or multiple applications or system components

- Provides technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture

- Acts as a technical expert on the design and development of highly complex, Mainframe configuration on IBM Z/OS platform

- Reviews existing applications and suggest changes to improve the performance of the programs

- Develops procedures for routine administration including backup/restore, allocation, archival, shutdown, and startup.

- Works with management to develop enterprise system, database and storage management strategies to support organization needs.

- Provides recommendations for improving the environment, such as capacity thresholds, security gaps, patch levels, and hardware recalls.

- Analyzes the results of workflow plans, monitors the operating systems and recommends change to improve processing and utilization.

- Performs capacity analysis/planning, monitors and troubleshoots issues related to storage, databases or operating systems.

- Maintains and modifies backup and recovery procedures. Plans and recommends machine modifications or additional equipment to increase the capacity of the system.

- Works directly with users to resolve data conflicts and inappropriate data usage.

- Consults with and advises users on access to various Client/Server, Unix or Mainframe databases.

Job Qualifications:

- Very Good Knowledge with Mainframe DB2, MQ, CICS, and Cobol

- Experience with application/database tuning and performance improvement

- Very good knowledge of IBM Mainframe with application architecture/desig

- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

- Ability to obtain a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Suitability Clearance (Entrance on Duty (EOD))

- DoD Secret or Top Secret is a plus

- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification a plus

Full Requirement:

¨ The Client Team is seeking 10 Trainers to join our team to train the 1st IO Cmd how to use SharePoint (MOSS 2007), Office 2007, and the P3 Portal.
¨ This position will require trainers to go desk to desk to train all users in the 1st IO Cmd.

Roles and Responsibilities:

¨ 10 Trainers will be responsible for providing personalized training to users in the Springfield, VA area.
¨ Training will be provided one on one and will consist of the user explaining their job and the trainer providing the knowledge of tools that could help them complete their tasks.
¨ Trainer will be required to debrief the P3 team on any requirements or knowledge gained from these sessions.

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

¨ Knowledge of MS SharePoint 2007 to include webparts, document libraries, lists, search, and other functionalities that would be useful for a day-to-day user.
¨ Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 tools to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
¨ Users have moved from Office 2003 to Office 2007 and in some cases will just need to know how to do something they did in Office 2003.
¨ Be able to learn the current SharePoint Portal structure of the command in 1 week.
Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with JPAS eligibility to be considered.
