DNV Sustainability & Innovation (DNV S&I) is the sustainability arm of the company. DNV S&I established an office in San Francisco in 2008 to serve the needs of the Californian corporate responsibility and climate change markets. With additional offices in Katy (TX) and Vancouver, the sustainability group offers a wide range of services including but not limited to supply chain, carbon, water, biofuels and related climate change and sustainability risks. Major Duties

DNV Sustainability and Innovation- CSR and climate change group has experienced great growth in the last year based on Validation, Verification and Monitoring of climate change projects, including forestry (REDD) projects, Integrated Risk Management services to the energy and maritime sectors and Sustainability and CSR services. Our clients include leading ICT, Food and Beverage, Energy and Shipping brands. We operate in North, Central and South America. Our services are integrated Sustainability and Innovation solutions to the sustainable development challenges facing organizations today and in the future.

In North America, and specifically in the US, we are looking for a Senior Consultant that can envision and implement a plan aiming to reach a significant market position in CSR and Sustainability. Our service portfolio is divided into four main service lines: Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, Integrated Risk Management Services, and Validation and Verification services.

As a Sustainability and CSR Senior Consultant, you will have responsibilities for project delivery/management & business development / sales with main focus on the ICT, food and beverage and transportation segments within a team of experienced and motivated colleagues. In addition to technical and managerial skills in the sustainability field, experience in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability projects in multiple sectors is required. Self-motivation and the ability to work to ambitious targets will be characteristics of a successful candidate who will also be expected to have significant client exposure and external market profiling.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have the following attributes:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a CSR and/or Sustainability Consulting role.
• Demonstrated business development capabilities (annual individual sales above 1M USD)
• Excellent connections in the local and national CSR and Sustainability market and good understanding of the Environmental challenges in US.
• Capable of developing and leading business improvement, sustainability strategy and Sustainability and CSR change processes in client organizations
• Thorough knowledge in one or more related technical disciplines (corporate social responsibility, sustainability, ISO 14001, SA8000, supply chain management, CSR reporting, strategy development and implementation)
• Bachelor's degree in environmental, legal or business discipline. Graduate degree (MBA) is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a highly collaborative team, and respect for DNV values and ethics.

Event Planning:
• Helping develop, organize and execute marketing events and guerrilla marketing programs (festivals, street ambushes, etc)

Content Creation:

Requirements
• College/university degree
