Sr. Mobile and Web Developer

As a Mobile & Web Developer, you will be responsible for application and front end development for LiveHive's synchronous entertainment solutions on both web and mobile platforms. Quality and innovative thinking are critical aspects of this role. You must have a can-do attitude and ready to embrace challenges. This is a fast-paced environment and we are seeking a hands-on developer who is eager to jump in, think big, and help bring ideas to life.

Experience:
• intermediate to senior level with 5+ years of software development (web) experience in a professional environment
• mobile: 1+ years of development experience on apple's iOS platform

Required Skills:
Mobile
• Excellent skill with C/C++, Objective-C as object-oriented languages
• Experience with Cocoa, Memory management and the Foundation Framework
• Understanding of scalability, systems engineering, and algorithms
• Experience with Mobile Application development and User Interface design
• Experience with REST, JSON, and API/Web-Services
• Knowledge of applications used in development: authoring tools (X-Code) and graphics tools (Photoshop)
• Experience launching and updating applications

Web:
• Excellent skill and understanding of JavaScript & the jQuery JavaScript framework, XHTML, CSS, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience ensuring compatibility across web browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
• Experience building web applications with scalability, security, performance and reliability in mind.

Desired Skills:
Mobile:
• Experience developing for multiple iOS devices (iPhone, iPod, iPad)
• Understanding of Java and Android OS
• Knowledge of Blackberry OS
• Experience developing mobile web applications/website using web technologies (XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
• Experience integrating into 3rd party applications via APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Web:
• Experience using the .NET platform and the Visual Studios IDE
• Experience launching and updating applications
• Experience creating a JavaScript unit test framework
• Experience with ActionScript and Flash development
• Experience integrating into 3rd party applications via APIs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
