Yoh/Leoti, KSYoh has a contract to hire opportunity for a MP&P Engineer to join our client in Wichita KS.                         
 
Job Responsibilities:

- Evaluate aircraft detail stress analysis information that identifies the specific locations of the aircraft that need to be inspected and the sizes of flaws that must be detected.  

- Review of engineering drawings to determine material types and finishes may be required.  

- The contractor will then evaluate these locations on the aircraft, develop an NDE technique suitable to perform the needed inspection, and collaborate with the Tech Pubs group to create the finished procedures.  

- The techniques may require the design and coordination of fabrication of equipment specifically for these procedures such as sensors, probe guides, standards, etc.  

- Participate in the on-aircraft validation of the finished product.

 
Job Qualifications:

- Require minimum BS Engineering degree

- Skilled at deploying traditional NDT technology/methods (primarily eddy current and ultrasonic)

- Experience with developing Fleet Support NDI techniques for military aircraft

- Proficient at reading engineering drawings and extract information

- Basic understanding of airplane structure

- Good written and verbal communication skills
