Our Dallas based client is looking for a Database Administrator.
DESCRIPTION
The qualified candidate for this role will be able to administer, maintain, develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security, integrity, performance, capacity, and documentation of the database environment. This position will also be responsible for monitoring database and data integration processes and ensuring overall database reliability. Additionally, the position will be required to perform database, BI, and\or other development functions. Candidates for this position should have the ability to work in a multiple-priority, team-oriented environment.
Job Requirements :
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 years experience, along with the following technical skills:
Required – MS SQL 2005 DBA, MS SQL Developer (T-SQL)
Preferred – Reporting Tools (MSRS, Crystal), ETL Tools (SSIS, Informatica)
Other – Virtualization, Clustering, 64-bit environment Remote Storage (SAN), Data Modeling Tools, MDDBMS (OLAP, Essbase) a plus
Experience in Financial, Real Estate, or Wall Street business is a plus. Experience with SOX audits and compliance is a plus.
