  • SKINS digital marketing and content
    manager
  • Reports to Global Brand
    Director with a strong dotted line to the CIO
  • Key relationships - eCommerce Manager, Marketing Teams (Global and Globally), IT Department, Sales and Country Management, Digital and other marketing agencies.

Main focus and challengeThe SKINS brand global web site is the most
public face of the brand. It is a key marketing communication tool and a key
sales outlet. This role will be pivotal in continuing the current website and store re-vamp program and developing our web and digital program into a highly success sales vehicle that is fully integrated with all the brand major initiatives. This will
require close working co operation with the central and local management as well
as key agencies to develop and run an excellent international programme. Key areas of responsibility include: Website Content Provision and Management

  • Excellent Brand & product communication
    including the updating of content
  • Ensuring easy and effective navigation
    through the sites
  • Monitoring and improving traffic
    flow to the site with an effective SEO strategy and implementation plus other traffic
    driving initiatives
  • Ensures initiatives are
    robustly tested for a wide range of global user scenarios
  • That content is optimally
    translated for all participating countries/regions and agreed to by the
    relevant parties.
  • Clearly defines and
    communicates simple operational processes
  • Ensures best practise is used
    within budgets and stays at the leading edge of technology and digital
    marketing
  • Briefing
    web developers and other technical partners on future site requirements

Broader area of responsibility

  • Optimal use of resources i.e. money,
    time and human resources re digital agencies and internal management
  • Close and effective cooperation
    with fellow head office staff and local country management
  • Instigates and delivers
    required activity on time.
  • Manages and operates on or
    below budget.

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced digital marketing
    and content manager with excellent technical knowledge (min 5 years)
  • Up to date on web best
    practices, technologies and methods
  • Superb disciplined project management
    skills
  • Strong inter personal and
    communication skills, a team player
  • Willing to ‘get the job done’
    despite time pressure and fixed deadlines.
  • Pragmatic while achieving high
    quality
  • Passionate about their work
  • Familiarity with Telerik
    Sitefinity and Magento E-Commerce platforms is desirable
  • Excellent English (verbal and
    written)

  • Maximize sales and profit through the online store and responsible
    for hitting targets
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting
  • Management of online promotions, discounts and features
  • Monitors and raises customer service standards for online customers
  • Maintenance of product attributes, associations and positioning in
    the store section
  • Liaising with Product Development and Logistics to ensure up to date
    information and excellent customer service
  • Management of product launches and retirements online
  • Ensuring content is always up to date and appropriately translated
    working closely with the digital marketing manager
  • Briefing web developers and other technical partners on future site
    requirements
