Insenics is a new creative studio that specialises in producing high-end websites which are 100% semantic, hand-coded, cross-browser compatible and pixel perfect.We’re looking for a web designer who:

  • Has a natural affinity for all things design
  • Can create conceptual layouts and visual elements from scratch
  • Understands the ins and outs of standard (x)HTML & CSS
  • Is up to speed with the latest web technologies
  • Has a willingness to learn about what goes on behind the scenes of a dynamic website (i.e. Object-oriented PHP, AJAX, JavaScript and advanced CSS)  

Our studio is a home-based office in Hungary, which provides a relaxed environment for creative juices to flow with state-of-the-art Apple equipment, the latest in industry-standard software and great music all day!So what kind of person would suit this job? Ideally, the position would be perfect for a student who is studying in the area of web design and/or has worked in the industry or a freelancer who is looking for some extra cash.For us to consider you as the next member of our team, your folio must show a good understanding of design (hint: Word document CVs are not ’design worthy’) and your code must show a strong understanding of basic (x)HTML and CSS.Other stuff that will get you extra brownie points:

  • Knowledge and demonstration of white hat SEO techniques
  • Strong Photoshop/Fireworks skills 
  • Ability to hand-code stuff
  • Excellent communication skills
  • and a friendly, trustworthy and reliable personality

Currently the position is on a casual basis (averaging approx. 20 hours a week), however we are constantly growing so there is always the potential for the job to become more permanent in the future for the right candidate. Senior Systems Administrator (With Network & Linux experience)

Responsibilities:Providing senior engineering support as part of the datacenter team, you will be directly responsible for part of the maintenance and troubleshooting of our global production infrastructure.•Installing, supporting and maintaining server and network hardware. •Monitoring network usage and undertaking routine preventative measures. •Troubleshooting network issues to resolution. •Managing vendors, including tracking hardware/software issues and driving vendors to resolve issues. •Implementing future developments and undertaking project work. •Executing and managing project plans as part of a team. •Following strict operating processes and procedures as it relates to network operations. •Performing lab testing for ongoing evaluation of software and hardware network functionality. •Performing Linux (debian) administration.•Performing other duties as requested by manager.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:•Five years of hands-on TCP/IP experience, routing and routing protocols •Deep working knowledge of Foundry products and operation. •Working knowledge of Windows 2003, OpenBSD and/or FreeBSD Operating Systems. •Deep knowledge of the following firewalls: PF with Carp and Pfsync, Sonicwall in HA, Checkpoint NG in HA, Juniper JunOS •Experience with Foundry load balancers, and Windows Load Balancing •Knowledge of HP ProLiant servers, C7000 blade infrastructure, and ProCurve switches. •State-of-the-art, nice and neat cabling, cable organizing skills, working according to the rack layout plans •Power capacity planning, 3-phase power experience, ServerTech PDUs •Deep working knowledge of EMC Storage and Kashya/RecoverPoint Appliances.

Subject to on-call as and when needed. •Lifting, mounting and cabling heavy servers and network equipment in cold/loud datacenter environment over a long period of time. •Travel to our data center locations (both domestic and international) for extended periods of time as & when needed, sometimes on short notice.
