Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide technical and organizational leadership to a subgroup of the QA organization.
• Design and write test plans and test cases.
• Learn and use security test tools and functional and performance tools.
• Design and put into action test tools for software automation.
• Help other groups in software staging and pre-deployment.
• Continuously evaluate the SDLC and advance the current state.
Additional Responsibilities
• Perform other essential duties as assigned
• Show energy in coaching and leading

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Programming in C, C++, Java, C#.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Software Systems, Networks.
• Knowledge of Penetration Testing, Security Testing, Code Analyzer.
• Preferred Experience with Spirent or Breaking Point security test platforms.
• Communicative personality in writing and face to face.
• Enjoys working in a outstanding challenging, fun and adventurous environment.

Education & Experience
• Few years of technical experience is a plus.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology/Sociology, Physics, Operations Research

We're looking for an experienced research / software development engineer with passion and expertise in the area of spam and virus detection and prevention. The candidate will apply excellent research and design skills to help create and deploy new spam-filtering signatures, rules and techniques. The candidate will help design, implement, deploy and maintain Email Security products and tools that are required for the research team to combat spam and other email borne threats. This ideal candidate will have a blend of researching experience and practical, hands-on commercial application code development.
 
Responsibilities:
         Design, develop and maintain the Email Security applications
         Ownership of major components of the Email Security server product line for Windows and Linux-based appliance platforms
         Analyze spam and phishing messages and trends to develop and enhance algorithms and techniques to improve email security
         Research, design and deploy anti-spam filtering signatures, rules and techniques using highly scalable web-based and server-based tools
 
Requirements:
         Wide range of experience in design, development and maintenance of commercial software products
         Experience deploying anti-spam, virus or other email threat related signatures and policies a plus
         Extensive C/C++ experience a must; Java experience a plus
         Familiarity with email protocols and formats including SMTP, MIME, and RFC 822 a plus
         Demonstrated technical leadership including strong communication & mentoring skills
         Strong Windows programming experience required; Linux systems programming skills a plus
 
Experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

Requirements of the Candidate include:
