ABOUT THE ROLE
The UI Designer will be an important member of GOOD's multi-disciplinary product team, working to craft the experiences people have with a wide range of GOOD's products and services—from full scale websites, to mobile apps, data visualizations, and interactive widgets. The ideal candidate has a blend of both interaction and visual design chops, and is excited to infuse all they do with a great deal of fun. The UI Designer will collaborate with the Senior UI Designers and Developers with the design and visual testing of interfaces. We are looking for someone who will be eager to learn and inspire our community.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
* 1-3 years of experience
* Mastery of standard design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, lnDesign OmniGraffle, etc.)
* Solid portfolio showcasing strong interest and design for web applications
* Experience working with developers
* Lover of grid systems, style guides, and typography for the web
* Understanding of current HTML/CSS best practices and web standards
* Excellent communicator, both on- and off-screen
* Ability to learn from and inspire the GOOD design and development community
