Position/Responsibilities:
Support the mechanical development of world class utility scale wind turbines.
Responsibilities may include any combination of the following based on candidate's qualifications and experience:
- Design complex, multi-disciplinary machine parts, power cabinet layouts and assemblies using solid modeling tools

- Develop system requirements based on product definition
- Specify geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (Y14.5M) and perform assembly stack up analysis
- Work with ANSI drawing standards and AWS welding standards to create drawings
- Develop and maintain sub-system bills of materials and product development documentation using PLM software
- Develop component specifications through collaboration with vendors
- Specify equipment, systems, components, and materials
- Design piping and mechanical systems
- Check drawings and analyses
- Perform static and dynamic structural analysis of stationary, rotating, and/or vibrating, machine components while adhering to international design standards
- Perform fluid and thermal analysis
- Perform mechanical and electromechanical design modeling
- Prepare for and lead design reviews, FMEAs, and trade studies
- Provide commissioning and testing assistance
- Manage turbine engineers and technicians on a project
Requirements:
- PhD, MSME, or equivalent, plus > 10yrs experience
- Ability to work well within a team
- Discipline to work within a Quality Process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ABOUT THE ROLE.

The Maintenance Supervisor {PM Shift} coordinates resources for our diesel equipment operation and provide direction and support to our technicians. The Maintenance Supervisor will conduct training and provide support with diagnostic & troubleshooting expertise. The Maintenance Supervisor will take break down calls, coordinate road service and third-party vendors, maintain records for parts inventory and work orders.

In this role you will help to ensure safety & compliance {DOT, OSHA} in our shop operations. You will provide friendly and knowledgeable service to our fleet of profession drivers, staff and technicians. You will monitor/maintain inventory using computer system and printed reports. You will conduct physical inventory cycle counts periodically. In this role you will provide serve as the primary back-up to the Maintenance Manager.
