We’re a small, fast-paced group with the goal of quickly bringing exciting technology to market to expand out the HealthVault platform. We’re looking for a talented Senior Developer to define, design, build and deploy an exciting new application.

The ideal candidate for this position has deep experience building web applications. You have experience with a number of web technologies such as C#, HTML/DHTML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, AJAX style techniques, XML / XSLT, HTTP and CSS. You are an awesome developer and actively engage in the development of the product. You are a self-starter with a great imagination for really cool health and/or fitness applications and are actively seeking a place to build it. You love acquiring new skills and have a strong desire to grow.

Primary Responsibilities:Responsibilities include architectural design, designing features and building the product. You have a strong passion for robustness, availability, scalability, maintainability, ease of deployment, security, privacy, as well as a great attention to detail with the full end-to-end solution in mind. You will work with program management in defining and delivering a world class HealthVault application.

Qualifications Recommended:Qualifications include solid product development experience, communication and collaboration skills, critical thinking and self-motivation. You must have proven technical leadership skills. Ship experience with proven scalable multi-tier architecture product or service is desirable.

Able to take on multiple roles spanning Development, Test and PM tasks, as required in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Hands-on experience with agile development methods is a plus.

Proficiency in C/C++, C#, .NET Framework, IIS, Web Services is critical.

7+ years shipping commercial products and/or platforms and a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.

We’re looking for a developer who love working with cutting edge devices, communication protocols, emerging industry standards, and class solutions. The ideal candidate has worked with devices and understands the difficulties posed by various legacy buses. Experience with how Windows device installation works and the intricacies of Plug-n-Play is essential. An understanding C++ COM development and a general understanding of any one of USB, Serial, IrDA, Bluetooth, WiFi, or other emerging bus technology is required.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with partners and thrive on engagements at a technical level.

You have a strong focus on quality, correctness, maintainability, and security as well as a great attention to detail with the full end-to-end solution in mind.
