The Solution Accelerators Team is seeking a technically sharp, results-driven, customer-focused Software Development Engineer in Test Lead who is looking to play a key leadership role in future versions of the Security Compliance Manager which already has over 100,000 customers in only 8 months.
In this role, you will be responsible for working interactively with the program managers and project teams to create necessary test plans, schedules, and test specifications to ensure full coverage of our team's solutions. You will be responsible for contracting and managing several vendors supplying both onshore and offshore test teams. You are responsible for working with both our lab team as well as within Nebula to secure and prepare project team test harnesses. During the development and stabilizing phases of the project, you'll actively manage the testers, reviewing test cases and automation written by others. You should have excellence communication and organization skills, be a strong negotiator, and be an enabler for cross-functional work.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years' work related experience with a strong understanding of Microsoft and/or industry testing standards, principles, methods, processes and conventions
Strong design and development skills using C++/C#
Experience with test automation tools
Knowledge of and ability to work with a broad range of Microsoft's enterprise products
Great communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to learn new information & technologies quickly
Desired Skills:
Proven leadership skills with 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance management experience leading onshore/offshore teams in shipping multiple releases of complex, high quality, production-ready software in a timely and cost-effective fashion
Experience with Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, BPA, Group Policy, PowerShell, System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Service Manager, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and System Center Operations Manager.
Strong analysis and problem solving, test planning and design, and debugging skills, as well as the ability to pragmatically and appropriately apply these skills to the task of testing and shipping software
Strong understanding of modern, large scale testing strategies and approaches
Hands-on experience with one or more test automation frameworks (e.g. WTT, Maui, etc.)
Demonstrated track record of rapid ramp-up in new technical domains with a proven ability to lead teams in the research and development of innovative solutions to challenging technical problems
Proven ability to manage and execute on multiple project timelines and team priorities
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate effectively in a small, multi-disciplined, fast-paced team environment
Passion for product quality, excellence in software engineering, and a strong customer focus which results in putting customer needs first
BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics or related Science/Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
