The Cloud DB team is working to help you to scale out your data to cloud. Have you ever image to have a database which can provide unlimited storage? Cloud DB is going to be the cornerstone technology for solving these kinds of problems. By having assets on the PC, the server, the cloud, and on devices, Microsoft is in a better position than any other company in the industry to provide a solution that will allow you to move your data wherever you need it. In the Cloud DB team we are working on a project called “SQL Azure" to do exactly that.
Do you want to work in a startup environment? We're moving very fast with short milestones to enabling us to align with customers and partners. We've already deployed this technology to EHA team that provided the end to end solution for e-mail achievement storage. We also deployed our SQL Azure on top of Windows Azure in 2009. We are now working on new database services, Cloud BI Services, etc. Do you want to work with cool groups? We're working with teams in Windows Azure, AppFabric, and SQL Server, just to name a few. Want to work on cool technology? We are driving the high available, high scalable, distributed database technology and providing a pay as you go database storage consuming fashion. It is inherently distributed. We have lots of hard problems that still need to be solved and we need smart passionate people to work on them.
The key Responsibilities include:
l Communicate with MS HQ teams for testing project outsource planning and collaboration.
l Software test design, development, implementation and automation
l Influence and add value to Software development
l Manage project and vendor team to accomplish product testing tasks on time with high quality
l Be technical expert to the products and projects, and need to resolve the technical problems escalated by your vendors
Job Requirements:
l BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
l 3+ years working experiences in software development, testing related area with strong project management skill.
l Good in both written and verbal English skill.
l Strong OOP programming skills (such as C++/C# and .NET Framework, XML, etc) are required.
l Rich knowledge and experience in database (SQL Server is preferred).
l Driven for results, Quick-learning, problem solving and self-challenging
l Good communication skill, presentation skill and interpersonal skill.
l Good project management skill, time management skill and multi-task management skill.
l Great ability to work with other teams and people
l A proven track record for shipping quality software on time
l Passion for engineering excellence and learning
l Knowledge for test automation techniques and technologies essential are big plus
