We are looking for a talented Senior Test Engineer who can make strong contributions to product quality across our Marketing application portfolio. You will have impact on end to end quality of our Marketing services which include Execution Planning, Budget Planning and World Wide Events on Microsoft.com. You will engage with your Program Management, Development, Test and Operations discipline peers during the entire product lifecycle to deliver world class, global, Marketing solutions. We are moving into the Cloud Services arena and you will directly contribute to design and Cloud based application testing.

You will be able to further your technical and leadership skills while implementing the latest testing methodologies. There is a high degree of working cross team with your peers to plan features, build technical plans, design/create tests and test infrastructure, as well as writing automation for the Marketing application suite. Additionally, you will own, drive and deliver complex features at the highest possible quality level end to end; provide critical input to test strategy; and research/debug customer facing issues.

Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills to perform root cause analysis/debugging.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Hands-on Experience in Design/Implement Test Harness/Automation Frameworks.
Strong technical expertise with C# and SQL (5 yr minimum).
Proven track record of working well and collaborating with Program Management and Development teams.
Great customer focus and passion for doing the right thing for the customer.
Demonstrated experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Performance test experience is not required but a nice-to-have
Bachelor or advanced degree in engineering, computer science preferred
