Were looking for a highly-motivated, creative-minded graphic designer with a solid background of website and online advertising design. This position will be responsible for the visual design and graphics production of company websites and online advertising collateral. This is a full-time, in-office position.
What youll be doing:
- Develop visual concepts, mock-ups, final designs and production graphics.
- Coordinate with our web developer to implement design elements into code.
- Develop and maintain overall design standards, integrity and consistency for all company websites. Assist in developing company/brand style guides.
- Maintain proper version control and asset management best practices.
- Apply UX best practices across all design projects.
- Contribute ideas for new marketing strategies and projects that help meet company sales goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need:
Bring an aggressive, proactive approach to accomplishing individual goals and contributing to departmental and company objectives. Specifically, your background must include:
- 2+ years of full-time experience in graphic design for a Web development or online advertising department.
- BFA or equivalent in graphic design or related coursework.
- Expert level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Working knowledge of Flash and ActionScript.
- Knowledge of design concepts as they relate to website merchandising and usability, as well as online advertising.
- Ability to effectively present design concepts as solutions to marketing/brand challenges.
- Skills in applying typography, color, illustration, photography and composition to communicate with audiences.
- Discipline to prioritize tasks and work independently and efficiently.
