AMX / Crestron Programmer - Permanent / Yoh / Alexandria, VA
Yoh/Alexandria, VAYoh has a contract to hire opportunity for an AMX / Crestron Programmer to join our client in Alexandria, VA.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and install audiovisual systems for facilities such as conference rooms, video teleconference rooms, presentation rooms, training facilities, command centers, network operation centers, and theaters.
- System design and programming for audiovisual control systems such as Creston or AMX.
- Networking design and network engineering.
- Apply networking skills to systems other than desktop computing environments.
- Design, install and troubleshoot secure VTC systems including designing secure VTC systems to accommodate a variety of client requirements for data encryption and physical security.
Job Qualifications:
- Three years of programming experience with AMX or Crestron Systems.
- Minimum level 2 programmer certification required.
- Must be capable of on-site testing and troubleshooting of code.
- Engineering candidates should have 3-5 years experience in designing, engineering, and contracting commercial audiovisual systems.
- Engineer candidate should be willing to participate in obtaining a security clearance.
- Existing Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearances a plus.
- A criminal background check is required.
- Requires employment applicants pass an initial and then periodic drug test.
Preferred Job Skills / Experience / Certifications:
- Certifications from audiovisual trade associations such as ICIA and NSCA are desired.
