Need Superstar Application Developer (C#, .Net, MySQL)

This is a contract position. Start date is immediately. Project completion is estimated for May 30, 2011.

PoloSkilz Network is seeking an individual who can take over remaining development of our web site and supporting applications built on Microsoft technologies. These include CRM integration, a content management system, heavy-duty search and tagging capabilities, billing and credit card processing. We need you to:

  • Get up to speed fast.
  • Make changes to polish/finish the existing code using C# and ASP.NET..
  • Develop a limited amount of new functionality.
  • Work with original Developer (who has moved on to a different project internally) to bring project to completion
  • Work fast and with minimal supervision.

The person we hire will have …

  • Bachelors Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of development experience in C# on Microsoft Windows platform.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in developing applications using XML Web services.
  • Experience developing applications using Visual Studio 2005/2008 with .Net 2.0/3.5 frameworks.
  • Experience with data centric applications using MySQL.
  • Experience creating MySQL database structures including stored procedures, tables, triggers, and indices using MySQL.
  • Familiarity with XML and using schemas.
  • Advanced HTML and intermediate CSS.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to plan, implement, test, and troubleshoot applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and handle multiple task simultaneously.
  • Experience with visual source safe, SVN subversion, or any other version control systems.
  • Personality, ability to work as part of a team, and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Pass a mandatory drug/background/credit check.
  • Be willing to work long hours until project is completed.

Additional qualifications preferred but not required:

  • Experience in integrating or developing applications using Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience with .NET Winforms development.
  • Experience with JavaScript
