Application Developer (Midtown East)

Application developers are responsible for the design, development and implementation of software applications and utilities with a particular emphasis on SQL database back-ends and web browser-based user interfaces. The ability to review a business requirement with end users, analyze and document the requirement, design a technical solution to address the requirement, and then write and test the code to implement the solutions are the core tasks of this position. Developers will often work at client sites and will need the ability to function independently, efficiently and professionally in this type of environment.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft.NET, Java, SQL Server

• Basic Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language including XSL

• Comfortable with software development lifecycle

• Strong interpersonal and writing skills

• Desire to learn new technologies and APIs

• Understanding of a business environment a plus

• Interest in design and building integrated solutions to diverse business and technical problems

• Minimum of Bachelors Degree

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience
