ASSISTANCE CTO PHOTOSHOP/HTML FOR $10 MILLION STARTUP ONLINE RETAILER (Hollywood, CA)

Melrose Jewelers, a leading online luxury wristwatch retailer projecting over $11 million in 2011 revenues, is currently seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join its growing team. This individual will work directly under the Chief Technology Officer and in conjunction with our in-house marking team.
Candidates Must Be Proficient In the Following Areas:

  • Skilled in graphic design, layout, color theory, typography and production for the Web.
  • Experience with marketing oriented ad design and collateral.
  • Expert in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, HTML/CSS, Javascript
  • Previous success with project expediency and prioritization
  • Exceptional  attention to detail
  • Can work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge in PHP, MYSQL5, AJAX, Flash  is a Plus

Melrose Jewelers is a rapidly expanding business (revenues up 40% year-over-year) operating in a $2 billion market, and currently owns the leading retail luxury watch websites in the U.S.,  U.K., and Canada—with over 1 million unique annual users. This position starts at $40,000/year, full-time base salary with excellent benefits and company perks.

*The ability to work during the winter holiday season as we perform most of our sales during this time. (Christmas day is off)
