Function and Responsibilities:
The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and developing quality sales opportunities for the field sales organization. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outbound calling, assessing prospect and customer needs, identifying "business pain" and determining decision makers. You will also need a strong understanding of technical environments.
 
Responsibilities:
Follow-up on leads generated through marketing activity and develop them into prospects by effectively communicating value proposition tailored to their needs.
 
Identify prospect and customer needs by leveraging key contacts and determining decision making/buying process within an organization.
 
Identify high potential customers and transition the lead to the field sales organization.
Effectively utilize the lead qualification process as well as documentation and tracking processes.
 
Maintain the sales database/CRM, including comprehensive data entry of sales leads, lead follow-up information and lead tracking throughout the sales process.
 
Follow the sales process utilizing the lead rating system.
 
Responsible for providing monthly reporting indicating opportunities generated with a lead rating of A -D.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
 
3+ years experience in sales development and lead development management.
 
Experience utilizing CRM software packages.
 
Articulate and professional, enthusiastic attitude and a focus on results are required.
 
Strong tele-qualifying, email marketing skills; ability to reach prospects creatively, position products and handle objections.
 
Strong understanding of technical environment.
