Yoh/Bella Villa, MOYoh has a contract opportunity for a Communications Systems Engineer to join our client in St. Louis, MO.
Job Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for providing system analysis, design, definition and specification of complex communications systems and product functionality.
This position will determine system and product specifications, input/output interfaces and processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
Work with Marketing and Management to understand customer requirements for communication system applications.
Perform end-to-end system analysis and design of a complex communication system.
Write specifications capturing functionality, performance, interfaces, and data processing.
20% gathering information and 20% writing specs.
60% analyze and create new architecture to provide enhanced efficiency of signal procesing over transmission lines, between Unix server box and core application and firmware end points.

Job Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Systems Engineering with a strong emphasis in one of the proceeding, Advanced engineering degree is a plus.
Experience in embedded C development.
Electronic hardware and software development experience is required.
Strong analytical skills demonstrated in the analysis and definition of complex systems.
A minimum of five years experience in defining complex products working with the hardware, software and system level requirements for the product.
