Description
Currently looking for a PHP developer with strong Druapl knowledge and development experience. Developer will work with internal development team to complete vision of various marketing goals set forth by key members within the company. Experience with developing event system functionality highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Proficient in Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules and the core API, CCK, Views
- Proficient in PHP, ideally within a GNU/Linux, Apache, MySQL environment.
- Proficient in SQL, relational databases and MySQL; skill with tools like phpMyAdmin and the MySQL CLI
- Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with major JavaScript libraries
- Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites
- Hand-coding HTML and table less CSS is preferred
- Sound knowledge of using templates to theme components
- Experience integrating free software and third party applications into existing systems
- The ability to work within existing infrastructures
- Ability to work as part of a team, understanding problems from another team members perspective, and, when necessary, go above and beyond the job description to work towards a broader team goal
- Independence, willingness to learn and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle a face-paced work environment, deadlines and new challenges
- Ability to communicate and work well with others

- Involvement in and contributions to the Drupal community
- Familiarity with revision control systems such as CVS and Subversion
- Experience enhancing the performance of high-traffic sites
- Experience with AJAX or jQuery
- Slice PSD mockups from creative and code them into site templates for the One Day Without Shoes Websites
- Merge old event system code base into new Drupal website
- Test end to end functionality of event system to make sure it meets business requirements
- Help train E-Commerce team on event system administration responsibilities (such as moderating event comments, photos, and other content)
- Ensure transactional email templates from event systems are coded
