COO- Business/Project Manager - Social Enterprise (Tribeca)

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference, join an inspiring creative collaborative team, and knows how to use the power of online - offline community to change the world, one person at a time.

The ideal candidate has experience in Internet Startups, with a special emphasis on online community building and a focus on a new generation of women who are style and design conscious, environmentally aligned, part of the creative class and who long to live a more holistic, vibrant, life offline. Experience in financial management, astute human resources management, the ability to multi-task and "get" what we're doing and the power of both revenue and social influence that we wield, a "can do" and glass is half-full attitude that is pro-active and solutions oriented, ready to meet all challenges and innovate, creating a new path for what is possible in new media. Our first projects include a private online community for women, an online yoga function, and offline events, meetups and a yoga + arts and culture center. You will be working closely with the Founder, Editorial Team, assisting with the initial team- build and launch of the nonprofit center, but main responsibilities are to the web portal and day to day execution of all online projects. We will be expanding into Europe, Asia and Australia quickly, so experience with building small 2-3 person satellite teams is essential.

Must have had previous Senior Level COO or Project Management experience related to internet startup and web management, experience with a social enterprise or nonprofit a plus. Foreign languages: French. Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Japanese also a plus.
