CREATIVE, INTERACTIVE & ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNSHIPS (Flatiron)

STC Associates, a global brand management consultancy representing clients in the telecom, technology, spirits and luxury goods sector which is located in downtown NYC, is looking for some really talented individuals to join our Creative and Interactive teams as interns.

Paid, unpaid, travel stipend and/or class credit internships are available but will depend on skills and qualifications of applicants.

SERVER SIDE INTERACTIVE INTERN - will work under the direction of the Senior Web Developer and will be directly involved in interactive initiatives. This individual should possess a can-do attitude and be filled with a passion for learning, understanding, and tackling new technologies. If you think shards are the secret sauce of life, and you want to build exciting dynamic applications, this internship is for you. We are looking for someone using MYSQL, ASP, PHP and Python in creative ways. Internship has potential to lead to working relationship.

USER INTERFACE INTERACTIVE INTERN - will also work under the direction of the Senior Web Developer and will also be directly involved in interactive initiatives. This individual should possess a great attitude and creative out of the box thinking. If you think Flash is tired and want to kick it with jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, this internship is for you. We want to develop your potential into innovative style, elevating websites into an art form. Internship has potential to lead to working relationship.

PRESENTATION INTERN - will work under the Graphic Designer/Presentation Specialist and will have the chance to be involved in creative initiatives as they arise. This individual should possess a can-do attitude, love the experience of achieving client successes and tackling new ground. If you possess advanced PowerPoint knowledge, love to use Photoshop and Illustrator and can work in CS5, then your skills are what we are looking for to implement and execute updates to marketing materials as well as standard and custom creative presentation collateral. This is a good opportunity to work on creative briefs, brand standards and get agency experience.

GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN - will work under the direction of the Senior Graphic Designer and will be an integral part of the Creative team and as such, his or her ideas will be greatly valued. The intern must be pro-active, organized and detail-oriented. The individual should possess strong typography and layout skills, animation and drawing skills a plus and have proficiency on Mac Platform in Quark, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Knowledge of Dreamweaver and HTML as well as web design applications is a plus. The intern will assist in preparing marketing and promotional materials, ad banners, websites and presentations, etc., for various global clients. This is a great opportunity to work in an agency environment and build your portfolio.

OPERATIONS INTERN – will work under the direction of the President and will be an integral part of the operations/administration team. We are looking for someone with strong administrative and creative skills to assist the various teams in preparing PowerPoint presentations, providing data entry, purchasing for events and tradeshows, setting up client meetings, researching and analysis, answering phones, billing, facilities management and miscellaneous projects as assigned by the President. This intern needs to be organized, detail-oriented, possess a great attitude and have strong interpersonal, communication and written skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite is required. Great opportunity to see how the internal workings of a company are run.
