We are continuing to expand our team and currently seeking a Database Administrator II in our headquarters office, located in San Diego, California.

Typical duties,
• Solve problems for both internal and external client databases,
• Maintain use of SQL Replication, data models, stored procedures, and scripts to support new applications and enhance existing applications.
• Participate in design, code reviews and program (including unit testing).
• Demonstrate technical proficiency and high quality standards in personal work and contribute to the team's continued success.
• Follow development process and contribute to its implementation.
• Provide constructive criticism and feedback to colleagues in design and code reviews as well as be able to receive constructive criticism and feedback from colleagues.
• Travel occasionally as required.
• Other task as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a DBA
• SQL querying and scripting (minimum 3 years)
• T-SQL stored procedure development (minimum 3 years)
• SQL Replication (minimum 1 year)
• Data modeling (minimum 1 year)
• Query optimization (minimum 1 year)
• Full lifecycle experience
• Architecture and design work
• Ability to share technical knowledge with others
• Highly developed communication skills
• Self-directed, capable of independent work
• Public safety experience is helpful, but not required
• Visual Studio programming experience is helpful, but not required
• Relevant industry certifications highly desirable
• The selected applicant will be a self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have a proven track record.

EDUCATION
• B.S. degree, Computer Science or related.
