Job Description

Summary

This position will support Marketing and Decision Science in establishing an enterprise database and reporting structure to provide information to analysts and decision makers. Partner with business and analysts to translate requirements into database objects and data processes that meet continuous improvement objectives. Collaborate with business to explain variances, identify gaps in existing data processes, and provide insight on process improvements at the data level as part of ongoing reporting operations and new business initiatives.

Accountabilities:

Responsible for small scale data modeling related to analytical and marketing initiatives

Responsible for data process design and documentation

Develop and maintain structured reporting environment for marketing campaign initiatives

Integrate and automate existing manual reports as needed

Improve data processes supporting modeling and analytics through on going experience and insights

Conduct predictive modeling data staging and transformation activities

Manages DB views and procedures for marketing and decision science development area

Proven strong analytical technical skill and ability.

Ability to demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills including user documentation.

Technical expertise including in-depth working knowledge of MS SQL Server (SSRS & SSIS), MySQL, PL SQL.
Exposure to SAS and web-based CMSsolutions desirable. Background in Computer Science and Unix/Linux preferred.

Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Operations plus 5-7 years experience in related field.
