Digital Director (Nassau County, Long Island)
The Digital Director will be responsible to design, develop and analyze architecture of systems, networks, and operations including hardware and software. Determine integrated software and hardware architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs.
Must have proven technical skills within specific technology disciplines such as html, flash, MySQL, phpMyAdmin db, and work with Javascript, Perl, XML, XSL, Ajax, Lamp, Unix and Apache.
Proficient in systems design, UI design, enterprise systems, computer programming, computer engineering, database management, and internet and systems security, as well as social media/networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn.
Have an eye for design and be flexible and creative; experience in Photoshop and other graphics file formats a plus.
Monitor and be "on call" for troubleshooting user related problems; seeing that all hardware and software components work properly; keeping the network secure from outside parties; running diagnostics to ensure performance and catch potential problems; and monitor space capacity requirements and making recommendations for future problems.
A team player able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.
Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Must have ability and desire to understand and be part of the strategic planning process of our online business.
