Dealix, a division of ADP Dealer Services, is the principal provider of online leads for car dealers and manufacturers. We are hiring a Director, Business Operations: A member of our leadership team who will build an organization providing insight for all data-driven decisions by the organization. You will be a player-coach for a team that determines how to make data available to the organization; drives the creation of business insights; makes business decisions and recommendations; and provides input into products.   This is a challenging role that requires leadership experience, a high degree of comfort with complexity, a facility with numbers and models, and a passion for getting things done. The right candidate will receive the satisfaction of driving business decisions, having daily impact on results, and building a team that is critical to our division's success.
Key Responsibilities

- Create and lead a six-person team able to provide analytical support to all metric-driven business decisions made across the organization.

–Determine what data is needed and in what form (i.e. dashboards, daily reports) to support decisions
–Lead  reviews of results and drive towards decisions and recommendations

- Team will have direct responsibilities for:

-Lead buying strategies
-Management and analysis of product quality
-Determination and evaluation of web-based tools to track audience metrics

- Provide analytical support for:

-A/B and multivariate testing on our websites
-Online traffic acquisition & retention
-Identification of sales targets

- Develop insight into revenue and margin trends to inform financial budgets and forecasts.

- 5-7 years of business management experience as a finance, product or business operations manager in a consumer web company – ideally in the online leads space.
- Proven experience as a leader who has used analytics to create business insights to inform business directions.
- Experience in building and leading a team of direct reports and fostering their professional growth.
- Experience with web-based analytical tools (i.e. Omniture)
- Proven track record of growing revenue and/or margins for a business line.
- Exceptional analytical thinking skills and the ability to confidently make decisions that involve difficult trade-offs.
- Equal level of comfort dealing with strategic questions and operational issues.
- Extended practice with turning data into actionable insight and recommendations.
- Results-orientation and excellent prioritization skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel modeling skills. Must be comfortable working with large volumes of data.
- BA or BS degree required. MBA strongly preferred.
