Job Duties & Responsibilities
Overview
Efficient Energy Systems segment, as its name implies, is focused on the emerging energy technologies and products necessary for the new millennium. These have included: "small wind" turbines, capable of significant power generation on the rooftops of commercial buildings; ocean power, deriving energy from the natural undersea currents; highly efficient motors, generators, and alternator-rectifiers for aerospace and defense applications; and fuel cells and their associated power electronics. Today, the segment's focus is on the emerging electric and hybrid-electric vehicle market, and its surrounding infrastructure needs. This focus includes in-home and on-road chargers, "smart grid" technologies to minimize electric vehicle impacts on the existing utilities, and networking and "back-office" data distribution and management functions for owners, utilities, and transaction agencies. I am looking for a capable, aggressive, forward-thinking technical manager to lead the design, development, introduction, and adoption of these critical products into the electric vehicle marketplace.
Responsibilities, Interfaces, and Reporting
