Job Purpose
As the eCommerce Site Manager for Deluxe Corporation, you will play an integral role in building the infrastructure and vision to help grow the Small Business division. The successful candidate will work on the eBusiness strategy and execution to drive customer acquisition through online channels. The eBusiness Site Manager will be a principal guide for growth, profitability, and innovation. The person in this role will achieve results by driving strategic marketing initiatives via online advertising, on and off-site content, customer interaction, promotions and performance reporting, identify, evaluate and prioritize site improvements working with Web Analytics, Customer Experience and Product/Service Managers.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the roadmap for each web property to ensure revenue objectives are met.
- Meet on-line revenue objectives.
- Liaise with IT to ensure implementation of road map.
- Manage the overall online brand identity for various Deluxe eBusiness properties, including direct to Small Business customer sites as well as white-labeled e-kiosk platforms
- Liaise with Integrated Program Managers to develop and execute a wide range of online marketing initiatives, including site content optimization, lead capture programs, e-mail marketing, affiliate, SEO/SEM campaign development, online advertising and promotions
- Provide creative and strategic input as part of a dynamic team of eBusiness professionals
- Provide a central point of contact for all eBusiness and eMarketing initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, distribute and execute best practices for all eBusiness properties
- Recommend, develop, test and execute new programs in order to improve customer acquisition and retention
- Optimize the online media mix in campaigns to ensure integration between all online channels
- Analyze and report on ROI and cost of acquisition for different marketing initiatives
- Support retention strategies using email, newsletters, social online media, etc. to increase customer frequency
- Provide the Executive Team and other appropriate stakeholders with monthly reporting summaries
- Investigate, recommend and implement new enhancements that can increase revenue, brand awareness and improve overall customer experience by analyzing the results of ongoing efforts
- Identify new eBusiness trends and opportunities
- Manage third party vendors as necessary
- Work with Web Analytics and Customer Experience teams to maximize revenue and conversion of every visitor

Required
Required
- Extensive online and Internet marketing experience, with at least 10 years in a senior role
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related experience (Masters/MBA is considered an asset)
- Thorough understanding of the U.S. and/or Canadian E-Commerce markets, especially as it pertains to small and medium-sized business owners
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Omniture and other web analytics tools and metrics
- Significant experience with online marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, affiliate marketing, email marketing, site conversion analysis, user experience improvements, as well as experience with traditional advertising methods including direct mail, print, radio & television
- Proven project management skills and the ability to track and lead multiple simultaneous projects
- Advanced knowledge of various Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with P&L reviews, customer acquisition models and maximizing online revenue and ROI
- HTML and programming language knowledge an asset, but not required
